Adjust the hinges on doors which have become misaligned
Ask any professional
and they will tell you that euro hinges are specifically made to be adjusted easily. When a door does not sit flush with the neighboring one, simply adjust the screw’s depth. This screw will move the door in or outwards. Some move the door while you turn them. However, with most, you will need to loosen them, nudge the door inwards or outwards and tighten the screw. When your hinges don’t have these, begin with the side screws. These will move the door from side to side. With many cases, you may have to loosen the depth screw in order to change the side screw.
Change or replace faulty latches
Most of the newer cabinets come with self-closing hinges which keep the doors closed. Others come with roller catches or magnets. A catch which does not keep a door closed will either faulty or just out of alignment. Catches are fastened using 2 screws, so replacing a damaged one is a piece of cake. Adjustment is simple too, however, you may need to readjust the catch a few times before you get it right. Simply loosen the screws, move the catch and then re-tighten the screws again. Should the door not close tightly, then try again.
Add bumpers onto doors which bang
